The short version

Art of Flora collects nothing about you. No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no data leaves your device — because the app cannot send data anywhere at all.

Why we can say that

Art of Flora does not request the INTERNET permission. An Android app without that permission is prevented by the operating system from making any network connection whatsoever. This is not a promise you have to take on trust: you can verify it yourself by inspecting the app's permissions on its Google Play listing, where the only permission requested is:

• VIBRATE — used solely for the gentle haptic feedback when puzzle pieces move.

Information we collect

None.

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell or share any personal information, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, location data, contacts, photos, usage analytics or crash reports.

Information stored on your device

Your progress is saved locally on your device only, using Android's standard app-private storage. This includes which specimens you have restored and catalogued, your best move counts, your seed balance, and your app settings.

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to us, because there is no "us" to back it up to. Uninstalling Art of Flora permanently deletes it.

Children's privacy

Art of Flora is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children under 13. Because no personal information is ever collected, there is nothing for a parent or guardian to request access to or deletion of beyond uninstalling the app.

Purchases

Art of Flora contains no advertising and, at the time of writing, no in-app purchases. Seeds are earned by playing and cannot be bought. Should in-app purchases be added in future, any payment would be processed by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy; we would still receive no personal data, and this policy would be updated before such a feature ships.

Third-party services

Art of Flora includes no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or social SDKs.

The app is distributed through Google Play, which collects its own data when you download or update an app. That collection is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and is outside our control.

Educational content

Plant information in Art of Flora is provided for general educational interest only. It must not be used to identify edible, medicinal or poisonous plants, or to make any foraging, dietary or medical decision.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. If a future version of the app ever begins collecting data, we will update this policy before that version is released.
